what started as a small side project to always keep me designing has turned into a collection of nba cards for some of my favorite players over the years. i wanted to challenge myself to not only invent a style for these mock ups, but also embrace the sub collection trading cards have.
i wanted to develop a style that not only embraces the stylization of design i enjoy, but also developing it in a way that felt reasonable for basketball cards. modernizing designs in a more simplistic way, while keeping the focus on the stars on the court.
side project to design unique playlist covers allowing for me to experiment with new styles, colors, as well as connecting with the song its titled after. embracing a color i associate with it, or the artist themselves has associated with the song via its cover.
